5월1일에 써먹었어야 했는데 이제야 생각나다니.
해마다 5월1일이면 라디오에서 주구장창 틀어주기 좋은 노래이며
영화 <작은 사랑의 멜로디>에 삽입된 비지스의 노래.
처음 이 노래 들었을 때는 영어가 좀 되던 때라;;
첫 가사, “When I was small, and Christmas trees were tall” 대목을 듣는데
이상하게 심금을 울리더라고.
특히나 후렴구 부분에서 “Now we are tall, and Christmas trees are small” 하니까 더더욱.
간만에 라이브 영상을 찾아보려고 했는데 레어아템인 모양.
가사 되게 쉬움. (중2 정도면 번역 가능하지 않을까…)
